I totally forgot!

I have to fill out the paper work for my background investigation. Just a small, minor, detail, doh!

Mike started his 4-10 schedule on Saturday...four 10 hour shifts and 3 days off. We are both trying to get accustomed to it. We'll see how tomorrow is for him. He rides his bike to work and swims after work on some days, so that doesn't get him home until almost 10pm. He's training for a gatorman competition (3mile ocean swim). I'm so excited for him! Our workout schedule is a complicated piece of art that requires a decoder ring. Order yours now!

What did I say last week? long slow runs? hills? speed-work? I think I'm kinda doing that. We'll see how the hill work affects the rest. I've been having to get up earlier for my runs. Mike wasn't working until 11 on weekdays now, he has to work at 8:45 and my mid-week runs are going to hit 10miles next week. I keep thinking I'll do my run and come back home and sleep...HA! who am I kidding? By the time I'm done, I'm so jacked up I can barely sit.

oh oh oh! summer is on it's way! We've been hitting the beach, the neighbor's have their awesome bbq parties, and people are posting race reports left and right! I'm getting antsy. The La Jolla Half Marathon is in a few weeks and it's sorta my mental halfway point. As much as I prefer to not have to exert the energy running hills, the really tough part is the down hill. I'm just praying that I don't get injured in that race. Don't know why that's nagging me. I'm going to be super careful!

Curran wants to play soccer. huh? wha? Help!

I was really hoping to have a picture to break up the monotony but the ones of MIke and Curran planting our garden didn't turn out. :o(

yeah...don't forget to pay that parking ticket either! You may as well just write a check for $120 because that's what it's gonna cost you by the time you remember! LOL! You can just send it with our Christmas gift!

seriously, good luck working out your work out schedule. I'll take two decoder rings.

You have to come run the Manitoba Marathon. It's flat, it's fast, AND it's a Boston Qualifier... ::big grin::

We still have snow on the ground here :( It'll be gone by the time the marathon rolls around though, I promise!
