We celebrated with a lunch time bar b que of corn on the cob and chicken. I was the mommy hero of the day when I presented them popsicles...or poc-siples, as Curran likes to call them.
Curran was a bit upset that he couldn't keep up with the meltage.
Nevermind the renegade finger, that's our new fence in the background.
Mike is teasing me about my "runs" now. "Stop and walk if you need to honey." I've been sorely tempted to add on mileage but I HAVE to follow THE PLAN. Also, it's the nature of the beast...the taper. Less miles: you wanna run more but then hey, this is kinda nice, but then you start to feel lazy and even 4 mile runs are a chore.

Awww, it looks like he's really enjoying his melty pocsiple!! You're proof that tapering does work! Keep strong! And you're not lazy. I DID skip my run today. I didn't feel like running in lightning (because with my luck....) and I didn't want to dreadmill ;-)
